The Clash’s eponymous debut LP turns 40 today! The album was mostly plotted in guitarist Mick Jones’s grans flat, and was released six months before the Pistol’s Never Mind the Bollocks. The UK’s version contained Janie Jones, White Riot, Career Opportunities, Police & Thieves and the magnificent London’s Burning.
