The 1978 Funkadelic LP One Nation Under A Groove is the band’s most successful release, especially in the UK. James Brown’s In the Jungle Groove
is a compilation of grooves recorded between 1969 and 1971, when JB was at his most funky!  Released in 1986 to capitalise on the rise of hip hop and indeed samples used from many of these songs. The tracks Give It Up, Talkin’ Loud and the blistering nine-minute Funky Drummer are among the highlights.
