1970’s

The American rapper The Notorious B.I.G., Biggie, or Biggie Smalls was born at St. Mary’s Hospital in Brooklyn, New York on this day 1972.  Born Christopher George Latore Wallace to Jamaican parents Voletta Wallace and Selwyn George Latore, his dad was welder and politician and mother a preschool teacher.  The Notorious B.I.G. was gunned down in LA at just 24 years of age.
