1940’s

The singer Joe Cocker was born on this day 1944 in Crookes, Sheffield, and was the youngest son of Harold and Madge Cocker.  Joe is best known for his gravely voice, unusual body movement during live performances, as well as his covers of With a Little Help from My Friends and You Are So Beautiful, together with a hit duet with Jennifer Warnes Up Where We Belong.
