Nirvana played their first ever gig on this day 1987. The band, before Dave Grohl joined, played Led Zeppelin covers at a house party Raymond, Washington. Aaron Burckhard played drums.

The latest Car Seat Headrest release Twin Fantasy (Face to Face) is a complete re-working of his 2011 LP Twin Fantasy, and it’s sensational! The Guardian reviewer said of Toledo’s voice “he has a tendency to sing in a tone that suggests he’s been given pesto for dinner for the seventh day in a row.” Hilarious.
