On this Day in Music – 29th April

1930’s

The country legend Willie Nelson was born during the Great Depression in Abbott, Texas on this day 1933.   Apparently, although born on the 29th April, the doctor recorded the birth as the 30th April.  Nelson was one of the originators of the outlaw country genre.
