The Strokes have returned after a 7-years absence with The New Abnormal LP. I was hesitant to listen, but under the stewardship of Rick Rubin gave it a spin. Might just be their 2nd best LP. Includes the singles At the Door, Bad Decisions, and Brooklyn Bridge to Chorus.

The 1979 album Voulez-Vous (ah-ha) by ABBA is 40 years old today! Includes the hit singles Does Your Mother Know and I Have a Dream. Also Chiquitita, which at age 7 I thought was actually Chicken Tikka. Who doesn’t love a bit of ABBA?

The 2007 Radiohead album In Rainbows was initially released as a pay-what-you-want download. A beautiful and reflective LP, among their best work. I know many people who rank this as their finest work. Love House of Cards. Time to confess…what did you pay?
