1940’s

The English singer, songwriter and musician, Robert Plant, was born West Bromwich, Staffordshire on this day 1948. Plant is best known as the lead singer the rock band Led Zeppelin. One of the greatest rock vocalists of all-time, Plant also has released a number of solo albums.

The Slipknot album All Hope Is Gone is 10 years old today! The album apparently saw the Des Moines band move from nu metal to a more groove metal style. I must admit I’ve never really given the band much airtime, but enjoyed this listen. What else should I listen to?
