2005 – James Blunt’s You’re Beautiful began a 5-week reign at the top of the UK Singles Chart. In 2006 the song won an Ivor Novello Award.

1956 – Why Do Fools Fall In Love by the Teenagers featuring Frankie Lymon began a 3-week reign at the top of the UK Singles Chart. The song was originally called Why do Birds Sing So Gay?
