2000’s

2005James Blunt’s You’re Beautiful began a 5-week reign at the top of the UK Singles Chart. In 2006 the song won an Ivor Novello Award.

1950’s

1956Why Do Fools Fall In Love by the Teenagers featuring Frankie Lymon began a 3-week reign at the top of the UK Singles Chart. The song was originally called Why do Birds Sing So Gay?
