2010’s

The American singer-songwriter Captain Beefheart (born Don Van Vliet) died (2010) following complications from multiple sclerosis, just a few weeks short of his 70th birthday.  Beefheart is best remembered for his experimental compositions, including the 1969 classic Trout Mask Replica album.
