On this Day in Music – 24th November

2010’s

2013Lily Allen’s version of Keane’s Somewhere Only We Know started the first of two spells at the top of the UK Singles Chart.  The song found success following its use in the John Lewis Christmas TV Advert, and actually outsold the original Keane release.

The latest Muse release Simulation Theory has received mixed reviews, but I’m always a sucker for 80’s science fiction style music. That’s not to say the LP is without problems, in my opinion there are a few weaker moments. Good to have them back and worth checking out. Would love to hear your thoughts??? muse.mu
