1970’s

1974 – The American singer, and occasional actor, Meat Loaf was born (Marvin Lee Aday) in Dallas, Texas. The singer is best known for his album Bat Out Of Hell.

1960’s

1960Ricky Valance’s version of Tell Laura I Love Her became the UK Number One Single, where it remained for 3-weeks. Ray Peterson also released a version of the song in the same year, without the success of Valance.
