The 1986 Jackson Browne album Lives In The Balance was a political statement following the Reagan presidency. Includes singles For America and In the Shape of a Heart. Curiously the LP was a big hit in Sweden. A great song writer.

The 1971 Rod Stewart album Every Picture Tells A Story was a huge chart success and often included in ‘Greatest’ album lists. Includes Rod’s breakthrough hit, Maggie May, and also Reason to Believe. A perfect blend of hard rock, folk, and blues.

The 1973 Marvin Gaye album Let’s Get It On is sex on wax! Includes the brilliant Distant Lover and of course Let’s Get It On. Jason Ankeny of Allmusic said “each performance laced with innuendo, each lyric a come-on, and each rhythm throbbing with lust.” It’s sexy!
