2014All About That Bass by American Meghan Trainor claimed No.1 in the UK Singles Chart, where it remained for 4 weeks.  The song’s lyrics caused minor controversy regarding the shaming of skinny girls.


1946 – American singer and keyboardist Daryl Hall was born (Daryl Franklin Hohl) in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Hall is best known for his partnership with guitarist John Oates releasing hits I Can’t Go for That (No Can Do), Maneater and Out of Touch.
